If you have never tried Pilates and are not sure that it is for you may we suggest that you try a single session first and at that session you can decide how best to proceed with your Pilates training and schedule additional sessions. LSP accepts cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard and American Express
Should I take Private or Group classes?
Pilates is based on a series of techniques and movements which are precise and detailed. You will need to complete 10 private sessions to enter into an equipment class and 5 Privates sessions to enter into a Mat Group class. Privates are available from 8 am to 6:30 pm Mon. thru Thurs. and 8 am to 12pm on Fri and Sat.
Private Pilates Sessions are one-on-one training sessions that are the most effective way to focus on the client’s unique needs, injuries, and personalized training. Based upon your fitness goals, Private sessions utilize all of the Pilates equipment from Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Ped-i-pull, Reformer, Magic Circle, Foam Roller, Ball, Fletcher Floorwork®, Fletcher Barrework®, Spine Corrector, Matwork, to Fletcher Towelwork®, Highbarrel, Guillotine, giving you an end result of an individualized comprehensive movement program designed to create overall endurance, strength, and flexibility.
What are the pre-requisites for an equipment class?
10 Private Sessions
Here you learn you the following Pilates Fundamentals:
- Percussive Breath Technique (developed by Ron Fletcher)
- Standing and Centering through the use of Fletcher® Cueing
- Choreography of movement
These sessions are designed to teach you each of these Fundamentals helping you to find your correct alignment and add movement while learning each of the exercises and building your strength preparing you for a class.
